AYG QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE
WHAT
These posters were created as part of an online curriculum to help the upcoming generation learn about professional practices in a business setting. The use case for these posters were to be quick reference guides that the learners could download and refer back to.
WHY
The design choices in these designs were made to follow the bright, friendly, and lively design standards that were a part of the AYG (accelerate your growth) curriculum. I crafted these designs to follow the established brand while still delivering the information in an easy-to-digest manner.
Formal & Informal Quick Reference Guide
This guide was first introduced to the learner in the setting of a "communication cafe" where they also took other related courses about professional communication.
To make this quick reference guide fit the setting, I designed this poster with a chalk-board texture and displayed the bulleted information like a cafe menu. This design decision was a bit of a risk with the brand style depending so much on it's bright colors, but the use of brand fonts, icons, and bright yellow border helped make sure it was still visually part of the AYG family.
Dress for Success Quick Reference Guide
This guide was designed much more along the colorful, character centric, AYG brand. I chose to use a diverse set of previously designed characters from the curriculum and highlight relevant clothes on each of them, As well as using stylized icons for each clothing section to help break up the text and make the content easier to retain.
